Sovereign Mind Psychiatry

I was hired by this client to build a website for her new mental health practice.

I designed, built, and launched the website, with minimal help from an independent software developer.

Growth Points

Market Research & Visual Mood

The client had general opinions on how she wanted her website to look and feel, but I needed to take her ideas and turn them into a visual language.

I analyzed other mental health clinic websites in her area and developed a cohesive aesthetic of warm, bright visuals to combat the cold clinical feel of other sites.

Prototyping

After determining the visual feel through my prior analysis and research, I created wireframes for each page of the site, using colors, fonts, and the logo that the client provided.

This prototyping stage was essential for when I built the site live on the web.

The New Site

After flushing out the prototype and getting approval from the client, I built and launched the new site on Squarespace, using self-taught front-end development skills and some assistance from a developer.

The new site is simple and clean, inviting the user to make an appointment with clear CTAs in the header and across the site.
