Travel Vlogs

In 2019, I started a YouTube channel to vlog my year living abroad in China. Every since then, I have continued to vlog my travels all over the world, from Asia to South America to Africa. The project is purely for fun, and for my own records, but I have learned a lot from editing and curating my collection, as well as learning to express myself on camera and tell a story.

China

In September 2019, I quit my job and moved to Shanghai, China to study and learn how to speak Mandarin Chinese.

I spent nearly a year there, visiting places like Leifeng Pagoda in Hangzhou, the Forbidden City in Beijing, and the Bund in Shanghai.

In the end, this series included a total of 41 videos, spanning 294 days, living abroad during a global pandemic.

Zambia

In June 2024, I went on a missions trip with my church to Zambia, partnering with an organization called Hands at Work in Africa, who serve the most vulnerable across eight countries in Africa.

My team and I staying in the Kabwe area for two weeks, engaging and serving a small community there. It was an incredible experience, and one I will remember forever.

South America

Most of my vlogs are simply of trips taken for fun, with friends or family. This series is of a vacation I took with my older sister across South America.

We visited both Colombia and Ecuador, hiking, eating, and exploring cities and landscapes in Quito and Bogotá.
