JC Landscape & Maintenance
I was contracted by a marketing agency to redesign and rebuild this small landscaping business’s website.
This was the first website I designed and built entirely on my own, handling everything from the branding to design to development to the transfer of the CMS to WordPress.
Growth Points
- First website I designed, built, and launched entirely on my own
- Learned about hosting, domains, and DNS mapping
- Expanded knowledge of WordPress and gained familiarity with Bluehost
- Gained experience with Figma

The Revamp
The old website was very outdated, being run a marketing company that barely maintained it.
JC Landscape & Maintenance had no branding to speak of, only a logo, so I put together a color palette, chose fonts, and modified the logo.
Despite not being a brand designer, I took the visual language I created and revamped the site, developing a cohesive look and a new user-friendly navigation menu with clear calls to action.
The New Site
The new site includes service pages, a contact page, a job application page, as well as new pages such as the blog and gallery pages.
I not only designed every page, but also built and launched it, using self-taught front-end development skills.
